The Hillsdale College football blizzard is about to hit Allendale, MI as the Chargers travel to Grand Valley State for Round 2 of the NCAA Division II playoffs.

This week, I don't have to ask any questions. We begin with QB Troy Weatherhead's appearance on this morning's "Starting Lineup with Bakita and Grey" show on WBBL fm in West Michigan. The Troy Weatherhead VS The Ninja game even gets some love.

We finish up with a segment of Hillsdale president Larry Arnn's remarks at this season's banquet held on November 8.

Hillsdale and GVSU kick off at 1 PM on Saturday, but you probably already knew that.

Michigan Tech's Lee Marana is now the GLIAC's all-time leading rusher.
His 213 yards on Saturday vs. Northern Michigan pushed him ahead of former Charger Scott Schulte who had been the league's all-time leading rusher since 1993. In conference play, Marana has 4,381 yards, besting Schulte, who had 4,245 yards for Hillsdale from 1990-93.

But it was a party school before George Roche got his hands on it; made it into Playboy's Top Ten list. The alumni don't really belong on the current campus; most of them have drunk what brains they had into mush. The school has come to an agreeable standoff: they come in once or twice a year, we treat them to a tour, then segregate them into their own private little tents and Arnn toasts them till they (and did I mention he) are thoroughly shnockered. Then we pick their pockets and send them off home. But I certainly wouldn't want that lot interfering with studies more than one or two weekends a year."
